Day 1: Marrakech → Ouarzazate → Dades

Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Marrakech. We’ll set off early to make the most of the day, and you’ll be comfortable in one of our air-conditioned vehicles as we journey through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains.

On the way, we’ll stop at Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This ancient kasbah has featured in several major films, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones, making it a photographer’s dream. You’ll have time to explore the kasbah and learn about its fascinating history.

Next, we’ll continue to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” You can visit the Taourirt Kasbah or explore the Atlas Film Studios if you’re interested in film history.

Afterward, we’ll head to the stunning Dades Gorge, where you’ll enjoy incredible views of the valley and the dramatic cliffs. We’ll end the day in Dades, where you can unwind, enjoy a delicious dinner, and relax at your guesthouse or hotel.

Day 2: Dades → Todgha Gorge → Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

After breakfast, we’ll set off to explore Todgha Gorge, an area of remarkable natural beauty. The towering cliffs make it a perfect spot for photos, and if you’re feeling adventurous, you can take a short hike through the gorge.

From there, we’ll continue towards Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Along the way, we’ll pass through Rissani, where you might get a glimpse of the lively local markets.

Once we reach Merzouga, it’s time for the ultimate desert experience! We’ll take you on a camel trek into the dunes, where you can soak in the peaceful desert atmosphere. As we make our way to the desert camp, you’ll be able to catch the magical sunset over the golden sand dunes.

Once at the camp, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, relax around a campfire while listening to Berber music, and spend the night either under the stars or in a comfortable tent.

Day 3: Merzouga → Marrakech

Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the Sahara dunes, a truly unforgettable experience. After the sunrise, freshen up, and enjoy breakfast before starting the long journey back to Marrakech.

The drive takes about 8 hours, but don’t worry—it’s a comfortable ride. Along the way, we’ll pass through draa Valley, offering even more stunning views. We’ll also drive through the High Atlas Mountains again, providing plenty of opportunities to stretch your legs and capture some final photos of the scenic landscapes.

By evening, we’ll arrive in Marrakech, where we’ll drop you off at your hotel or a central location. You’ll have time to relax and reflect on the unforgettable memories from your trip.

Day 1: Marrakech → Ouarzazate → Agdez

From Ouarzazate, we’ll continue south towards Agdez, a charming town located at the edge of the Draa Valley. Here, you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night at a local guesthouse or hotel.

Day 2: Agdez → Zagora → Erg Chigaga

After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey south, passing through the stunning Draa Valley, renowned for its palm groves and kasbahs. Our first stop will be Zagora, a town known as the “Gate of the Sahara,” where you can explore its local markets and vibrant atmosphere.

From Zagora, we’ll continue our journey toward the majestic Erg Chigaga dunes, one of the largest and most remote dune fields in Morocco. Along the way, we’ll take a 4×4 vehicle across the desert landscapes, giving you a taste of the rugged terrain. Once at Erg Chigaga, you’ll experience a magical desert sunset over the towering sand dunes.

In the evening, we’ll settle into a desert camp where you can enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, listen to Berber music around a campfire, and spend the night either under the stars or in comfortable tents.

Day 3: Erg Chigaga → Marrakech

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chigaga. After breakfast at the camp, we’ll start the journey back to Marrakech. The ride will take us through beautiful desert landscapes, past traditional Berber villages, and back through the Draa Valley.

The drive is about 7–8 hours, but there will be plenty of opportunities to stop, stretch, and enjoy the scenery along the way. By evening, we’ll arrive in Marrakech, and we’ll drop you off at your hotel or a central location, where you can reflect on the unforgettable memories from your desert adventure.

We’ll end the day with a relaxing dinner and overnight stay at a local guesthouse or hotel in Dades.

Day 2: Dades → Saghro → Zagora

After breakfast, we’ll depart from Dades and head toward the Saghro Mountains, where we’ll drive through a rugged and wild landscape, passing by Berber villages. The area is known for its dramatic mountain views, volcanic formations, and serenity.

Continuing on, we’ll make our way to Zagora, a desert town located on the edge of the Sahara. Known as the “Gate to the Desert,” Zagora is the starting point for many desert adventures. We’ll take a break to explore the town’s unique atmosphere, local markets, and possibly even visit Tamegroute, a famous town nearby known for its ancient library and green pottery.

Afterward, we’ll spend the night in Zagora or nearby, preparing for the next leg of our desert adventure.

Day 3: Zagora → Mhamid, you’ll begin your camel trek into the Erg Chigaga dunes, one of the most pristine and remote sand dunes in Morocco.

We’ll ride through the dunes, where you’ll experience the peaceful and magical atmosphere of the desert. As the sun begins to set, we’ll reach our desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars. You can spend the night in a comfortable tent or even sleep under the vast, open sky.

Day 4: Erg Chigaga → Marrakech

After an early morning sunrise over the dunes, you’ll have breakfast in the desert camp, surrounded by the serenity of the Sahara. Then, we’ll start our journey back to Marrakech.

We’ll drive through the desert, passing by Lake Iriki and other unique desert landscapes, before making our way to Foum Zguid and back to the scenic High Atlas Mountains. We’ll stop along the way to stretch your legs and take photos of the stunning scenery.

By evening, we’ll arrive in Marrakech, where we’ll drop you off at your hotel or a central location, concluding your unforgettable desert adventure.
